إِن تُبْدُوا۟ خَيْرًا أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ أَوْ تَعْفُوا۟ عَن سُوٓءٍ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَفُوًّا قَدِيرًا
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Whether you make public a good deed or conceal it, or pardon an evil, Allah is certainly the Effacer of sins, and is All-Powerful.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اگر تم کوئی نیکی ظاہر کرو یا اسے چھپائے رکھو یا کسی برائی سے چشم پوشی کرو تو یقیناً اللہ بہت درگزر کرنے والا (اور) دائمی قدرت رکھنے والا ہے۔

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اگر تم کسی نیکی کو ظاہر کرو یا اسے چھپاؤ یا (کسی کی) بدی کو معاف کرو تو (جان لو کہ) اللہ یقیناً بہت معاف کرنے والا (اور) بہت قدرت والا ہے۔

Whether you make public a good deed or keep it secret or pardon an evil, Allah is certainly the Effacer of sins, All-Powerful.

Whether you make public a good deed or conceal it, or pardon an evil, Allah is certainly the Effacer of sins, and is All-Powerful.[613]
Commentary:
The verse further enlarges on the idea contained in the preceding verse, at the same time hinting that as far as possible man should try to pardon the wrongs done him by his brethren; for is not God, before Whom all of us will one day stand, the great Pardoner and the Effacer of sins?
اردو ترجمہ مودودی
(مظلوم ہونے کی صورت میں اگر چہ تم پر بد گوئی کا حق ہے) لیکن اگر تم ظاہر و باطن میں بھلائی ہی کیے جاؤ، یا کم از کم برائی سے در گزر کرو، تو اللہ کی صفت بھی یہی ہے کہ وہ بڑا معاف کرنے والا ہے حالانکہ سزا دینے پر پوری قدرت رکھتا ہے

If you do good openly or in secret or pardon an evil, surely God is All-pardoning, All-powerful.

(Even though you have the right to speak evil if you are wronged), if you keep doing good -whether openly or secretly -or at least pardon the evil (then that is the attribute of Allah). Allah is All-Pardoning and He has all the power to chastise.
